Equilibrium Acupuncture was set up by Amber to provide effective acupuncture treatments in Cleveland and allow more people to experience the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After years working in a high stress and high paced job that created a number of health concerns Amber was determined to find a better way to treat and manage her health, so she quit her job and started her Acupuncture Degree.

Amber spent five years at University and graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Acupuncture.

Amber’s holistic health philosophy offers a three-pronged approach looking at physical, dietary and emotional issues from the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Every client is treated on an individual basis by assessing the whole person and looking for the reasons that may be causing specific symptoms. A unique acupuncture treatment plan is tailored for each client to address both the symptoms and the underlying cause.

I Specialize in treating degenerative eye diseases, neuropathy, sleep disorders, pain, digestive issues, emotional issues, and stress.

My modalities include, TCM, Balance Method, Toyohari, Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha and Tuning Forks.

My interest in health and healing has been a lifelong endeavor and I find it a true honor to be a witness to a person's healing transformation while on the treatment table. Accepting this calling to be a conduit for healing to take place is a blessing I feel extremely fortunate to share with my clients.

My other interests include being in nature as much as I can, hiking, meditation, reading, astrology and being with my loved ones of the human and animal kind.

Kevin Ryan is AHPRA registered to practice both Acupuncture and Osteopathy in Australia. He has a continuing full time clinic practice of 47 years. He has interests in the treatment of muscular-skeletal dysfunction, pain and neurological conditions, compromised fertility, mood disorders, inflammatory arthritis and endocrine disorders. He practices currently in Melbourne CBD, with a significant number of children of all ages and disability patients. He was a member of the Complementary Medicines Evaluation Committee of the TGA for 11 years. He was a long serving and a former Chair of the Program Advisory Committee, Osteopathy and Chinese Medicine at RMIT University. He is a current member of the Chinese Medicine Registration Board Reference Group. Kevin was fortunate to study with the now world-famous Geelong osteopath Thomas Ambrose Bowen during the final 3 years of Tom’s life. He presents workshops in Bowen Method and his own Dao ma or coupled point Tui na Method.

I've been practicing acupuncture since 2007 and I'm particularly excited about helping patients with chronic pain. I also see a lot of stress, anxiety, depression and digestive disorders, on their own but also co-occuring with ongoing pain issues. I'm excited to help you feel your best!
